The Ugep traditional proverbs and wise sayings referred to as Ugep short, well-known phrases or statements that give advice of general truth to the social behavior of man.
Ugep proverbs are means of communication that motivates the people of Ugep to do what is right at the right time in accordance with the wishes of Ugep traditional beliefs norms and values system of the ugep society.
Traditional proverbs and wise sayings in lokaa language create respect to the speaker of such proverb in question from these been adressed.
Ugep traditional proverbs put forward by elders establishes sence of wisdom and life experience from the speaker which are copied by the younger generation.

1. A man who set fire according to the length of the snake sets the whole place on fire.
2. A fowl with chicks makes a lot of noise.
3. The snails uses it sweet mouth as rug to move over branches of the palm-tree.
