Leboku 2019 Winners

I am Jesam Ebri Ebri, a creative director in the global art-space of filmmaking and graphic design. I am also the winner of Mr Leboku 2019.

Growing up in Umor, I’ve always been influenced by the uniqueness and divinity of our culture and these virtues have shaped my ability to partake in the creation of brands and institutions like The Umor Bridge, TRIO Organization, Leboku Academy, Learning Lokaa, among others.

Driven by the need to create platforms where our people can find and refine themselves to become more, I am currently working on EPLA and ScoutNova - an online marketplace connecting farmers with buyers, and a sports scouting platform focused primarily on discovering football and basketball talent across West Africa.

My goal is to ensure that the ‘Yakurr presence’ takes a permanent space in the global market, shaping dominant industries like music, fashion, art, sports, film and technology.

I believe that true growth is committing yourself to a particular course and allowing your life and experiences to evolve through it.
