Hyacintha Ikpi was born in Ijiman, Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area, Cross River State, Nigeria.
She is a registered nurse and public health professional whose work reflects a strong commitment to service, community development, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Crowned Miss Leboku in 2021, she became a cultural ambassador for the Yakurr people during the Leboku New Yam Festival, promoting the traditions, values, and identity of her people.
Beyond her reign, she continues to advocate for education, public health, and youth empowerment, believing that culture and service are powerful tools for building stronger communities.
Her inclusion in the Leboku Museum commemorates her contribution to preserving the legacy of the festival and the cultural heritage of the Yakurr people for future generations.
